Love These!!!!

“We apologize for the amount of time it’s taken us to get this note to you but just wanted to let you know how SPECTACULAR our wedding video was. We’ve already watched it 3 times and showed it to about 10 different people who’ve all needed tissues to watch it.

From the delivery of the DVD’s in that beautiful box to the incredible footage you captured and pieced together, it was really a work of art that we will cherish forever. Please extend our gratitude to your entire team.”  Ben and Emily

Emily and Ben in Newport

Every summer we shoot in some beautiful places but, when you combine the location with incredible people, it makes for a magical day.  Ben and Emily’s families are truly some of the most loving and family orientated ever!  While editing this highlight, I found soundbite after soundbite in the speeches.  EVERYONE spoke from the heart.  It’s not just a cliche,  love WAS in the air.  Here is their highlight.

Red Sox Win World Series!!

Tags: , |

The dust is just settling at Fenway and the trophy is sitting in the front office. But the day before game one will be a day I’ll never forget.  A bunch of fellow film makers were chosen by the team to make a highlight of the Gala first game eve.  I was one of them!  We had access to anywhere and everywhere. shoot-shoot-shoot for four hours.  The Monsta’, the right field bar, EMc Suite, actually every suite for that matter, the bands, performers, the food, drink, I even sat in the dugout and picked up the phone for the bullpen, I could hear it ringing out in the pen.  Crazy!

Our Second Home – Newport RI

Tags: , , , |

It looks like we’ll be spending the summer of 2014 in Newport RI!  Right now, 50% of our weddings are going to be held in Newport. Between the spectacular coastal scenery, beautiful architecture, bustling and picturesque downtown, and friendly people, Newport, Rhode Island is considered by many to be the New England coastal destination for weddings. The mansions and the vineyards make it the perfect background for your special day.  Can you tell I love Newport, RI?  Here’s a Newport wedding we shot last year for Julie and David!

Red Sox Win The World Series

The dust is just settling at Fenway and the trophy is sitting in the front office. But the day before game one will be a day I’ll never forget.  A bunch of fellow film makers were chosen by the Sox to make a highlight of the World Series Gala.   I was one of them!  We had access to anywhere and everywhere. shoot-shoot-shoot for four hours.  The Monsta’, the right field bar, EMC Suite, actually every suite for that matter, the bands, Ted Williams’ seat, performers, the food, drink, players old and new, I even sat in the dugout and picked up the phone for the bullpen, I could hear it ringing out in the pen.  One of the coaches threw me a ball too. Crazy!  And to top it all off, it was on my birthday!  Special thanks to Whit Wales for choosing me and the talented team for that shoot!IMG_1327

Sabrina and Jesse Get Married!

Tags: , , |

I can’t tell you how much fun we had in Aruba filming Sabrina and Jesse’s wedding.  They had 50 family and friends from around the world attend their wedding, that just show how much they are loved.  By the end of the week Kathy, Lenny, Jen and I felt like part of the family.  From the dress rehearsal, to the snorkeling trip aboard the Jolly Pirates ship, to rope swinging off the side of the boat, to the most magnificent wedding this year! Two days after their wedding we played this film for 35 people crammed into their suite.  After we played it, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

Jesse and Sabrina are truly blessed and in love!

This day was awesome from the start.  And you couldn’t ask for a better location.  Blithewold Mansion and Gardens is a  beautifully landscaped 33-acre property situated in Bristol, Rhode Island overlooking Narragansett Bay.  Kayla and Van got married just before sunset at waters edge.  The light was magical at that time of day.  Kayla and Van are a perfect couple and you can see the love in their eyes as they look at each other.  Both sides of the family made our team feel so at home as if we were part of the family!  Kayla and Van, this is your Same Day Edit.

Don’t Be One Of These Brides AFTER your wedding….

Reprinted for TheKnot.com

The only regret I have about our wedding is not having a videographer. The day goes by so quickly — you really miss so much of it. I look back now and wish I would have spent the money for it.”

— Vikki2pay

“I was really worried that I might regret not having a videographer — not only to capture my fiance and me, but mostly our family members. I know it’s kind of morbid, but I know they won’t be around forever and I wanted to capture their voices and mannerisms.”

— rmfriedman

“While we are very pleased with our photographer, I’m now starting to have second thoughts about not having a videographer. I guess there’s nothing like having a video to capture the details, people’s faces/expressions, our vows — things that I might miss during the day as a busy bride and that don’t necessarily get captured in even the best quality photos.”

— caramels03

“DO IT!!!!! I promise you will not regret spending the money. You may not think you want to relive every minute, but after the day you have been meticulously planning for months flies by in what feels like seconds, you will be desperate for a way to remember it!”

— rachaelj99

“I just got married in June, and we had both a photographer and a videographer. I am so, so, so thankful that we ended up going with the video. It was something we almost cut to save money, but it was so worth it! When we got the pictures back, there were many guests and moments that were missed — and thankfully were caught by the video. I hate being videotaped, but I never even noticed him throughout the day.”

— megc2

“You can replay the most special moments in your life if you have a videographer.”

— susannalvovsky

“Our videography was some of the best money we ever spent. It’s true that it goes by so fast, and you do see things you didn’t notice when you see the video. Absolutely zero regrets. Our reasoning was that if we’re going to spend so much money on one day, don’t you want to be able to relive it through video? Plus, we can show it to our kids.”

— ExpatPumpkin

“I regret not having one. I thought that I’d never watch it and I’d have my pictures, but there’s a lot of your wedding that, as the bride, you don’t get to see. For example, I wish I could see what was going on inside my ceremony tent before I got there. I wish I could see my bridesmaids walk in. The whole thing went by so fast — I’d kill to have more memories of it.”

— starrbuk13

“I’m definitely planning on hiring a videographer. I want to be able to see fiance’s and my expressions when we say our vows. I want to be able to hear how we say them — and I just want to see everyone have a ball at our reception. And come 40 years from now when DVDs and blu-rays are old-school, I still want to be able to watch us on our big day.”

— jenandcris

“I did not think I would be so excited to watch our wedding video, but the day went by so quickly! I want to see our ceremony and cocktail hour, which I missed. Though I may only watch it a few times, I think it was worth the money.”

— foozzle

“I think that the video will capture things that the photos won’t. I know it gets really expensive, but if you just want a documentary-style video (no love stories and all the extras), it will be much cheaper.”

— christikao

“We barely even considered hiring a videographer and were confident in the decision not to have one. But after the wedding, I really wished we’d had one. We really underestimated how much we would want to relive the day and see things we missed. Our photos are wonderful but video still captures something photos don’t.”

— rel830

“I was anti-video, but I bit the bullet and got one anyway. We don’t watch it very often, but I love having it there for me to watch. We had both the ceremony and reception filmed, and I love being able to see everything that I missed the night of my wedding.”

— emimayor

“I had my wedding last month, and I regret not getting a videographer. I thought pictures would be enough and most people don’t watch their videos anyway, but your wedding goes by so fast and you miss a lot of things. Plus, I feel like I was in a blissful daze for a lot of it and would love to have the important things captured in video. Pictures just don’t capture everything.”

Kathy and I agree, the decorations at the wedding of Johnna and Chris were some of the best we have seen all year.  The Winvian looked spectacular, which made the perfect backdrop to an even more beautiful wedding.  This is their wedding trailer.  Happy honeymoon you two!!!!

Roopa and Vishnu Wedding Highlight

This wedding was a three day event!  Love the traditions, the colors, and the ELEPHANT during the Baraat.  What a wonderful couple of families.  Not to mention the awesome bride and groom, Roopa and Vishnu.  I will never forget how much fun we had shooting this wedding.
